CSK Vs SRH 08/05/2013 - Results,Review and Statistical Highlights

The two factors that made watching this live cricket match interesting was that the Sunrisers Hyderabad were one of the best underdog teams of the tournament who had never lost a match at home while the Chennai Super Kings were on top of the table but might have been shaken up after loosing to the Mumbai Indians miserably.Lets now take a closer look at the Batting and Bowling Performance Reviews along with the results of the
match that took place on 08/05/2013.

CSK Batting

When the Chennai Super Kings came into bat they tore the Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling apart with their excellent batting.Murali Vijay along with his Partner Michael Hussey developed a very fast paced opening Partnership which laid a very good foundation for others to go for a huge target.Suresh Raina once was was the best highlights of their innings as he scored 99 Runs of just 52 Balls and was well supported by Michael Hussey who made 67 Runs from 42 Balls as they reached a humongous score of 223 at the end of their 20 overs.

SRH Bowling

Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling was very poor as they leaked a lot of Runs throughout their innings. There was no one apart from Dale Steyn who was even economical and none of their bowlers had any answer to Suresh Raina's batting. After watching the Chennai Super Kings bat Kumar Sangakkara must have definitely regretted his decision to bowl first on a pitch which today looked to be at its best for batting.

SRH Batting

When the Sunrisers Hyderabad came into bat they had no choice but to go after the bowling. As expected in the process of going after the bowling they lost a lot of wickets too quickly as the Chennai Super Kings bowlers stuck to the basics and ensured they didn't slip up at any stage of the match.Parthiv Patel made a brilliant 44 from just 30 balls but that was not even close to what was needed for them to get close to the massive total.

CSK Bowling

Chennai Super Kings Bowling was good as they stuck to the basics and never gave any freebies to the Sunrisers Hyderabad batsmen.Mohit Sharma once again was impressive and well supported by Dwayne Bravo,R Ashwin and Chris Morris. The highlights of their bowling was Mohit Sharma who completed his four overs with 2 Wickets as they won the match comfortably on 08/05/2013.
