The Voice 06/05/2013 - Recap and Review

The Voice 06/05/2013 saw Usher and Adam Levine watch their singers compete against each other with a few fantastic performances after which they both joined forces as they sang a duet of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition." Read on for the complete Recap and Review of the show that aired on Monday Night.

The Voice 06/05/2013 - Recap,Review and Results

While preparing his contestants for the big night Levine took his four female vocalists to his family clothing store to style them up before they sang the song "Shake it out" by Florence and The Machine.

Usher on the other hand took his team to a kickboxing gym to help them energies with breath control before they sang "Black and Gold" by Sam Sparro.Lets now take a closer look at the performance Review of each teams.

Team Adam

First up was Amber Carrington's audition where she decided to sing the song "Stay" by Rihanna.Usher was really impressed with the performance as he claimed it as "The Objective was for America to become more familiar with your voice and have an intimate experience,and i think you did that" he further said "I really look forward to the follow up.

Sarah Simmons decided to sing the song "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan.Her performances was not that impressive as it felt to be forced at times.Usher commented on her performance saying that he missed the sound of the memphis music student that he knew until now.

Caroline Glaser was the next to perform as she sang the song "The A-Team" by ED Sheeran.A solid performance which resulted in Usher saying She won America Over "You get vote simply for the dimples first!"

Judith Hill did well when she tried to sing "Feelin' Good" by Nina Simone.The performance was well appreciated by usher  as it was great despite her suffering from a damaged vocal cord nodule.Usher said "You come out here and you took us to church."

Team Usher

It was time for some action from team usher.We saw Josiah Hawley using his electric guitar while singing "Starlight" by Muse.The choice of song looked a little out of line but Blake said "That performance was haunting and energetic."He further said "I think the world is gonna lose a male model for this,I guess i'll have to fill in!"
 
The next in line was Cathia who performed to Whitney Houston's hit "I have Nothing." Shakira did question the choice of her song by saying "Taking a Whitney Houston song is like stepping into a holy ground"

Usher assigned the song "Against all Odds" to Vedo to check if he would be able to get through the performance without many dance moves.Another impressive performance of the night ended with Levine saying "The only thing i don't like about you is that you're not on my team!"

Michelle Chamuel was assigned a task of singing True Colors by Cyndi Lauper.She rocked the performance as Shakira claimed "Who we are on stage is who we are in life" the other judges did admit that Chamuel's performance on 06/05/2013 episode was the breakout moment of the season.Usher said "Tonight,You made a connection to the world that we'll never forget.Auditions such as these are the reason why this singing talent competition is one of the best TV Shows within its genre.

The next episode of the playoffs will air on Tuesday Night which will be a special 2 Hour episode.That's if for my Voice 06/04/2013 Recap.Hope you enjoyed it.
