When WI Came into bat, they lost regular wickets but had a very good run rate thanks to some good hitting by Marlon Samuels who made a score of 25. Apart from Samuels, Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard had a superb partnership as they ensured they helped their team reach a score of 152 runs towards the end. Pollard was the best highlights of their batting as he remained not out at a score of 49. As far as Pak bowling was concerned, Debutant Zulfiqar Babar was impeccable as he picked up 3 wickets and mesmerized the home team with his consistent spin.
Pak's batting struggled initially but Umar Amin ensured he kept the run rate up throughout. At one stage it looked as though WI might be able to pull this off but Shahid Afridi's innings really laid a foundation for Babar to win the match with a six of the last ball. The best highlights of their batting was Amin and Afridi who made a score of 47 and 46 respectively. As far as WI's bowling was concerned, it was a mixed bag.
