WWE Night of Champions 15/09/2013 - Results, Review and Analysis

World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) Night of Champions PPV that aired on 15/09/2013 kicked off from Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan and started with a recap featuring pictures of how the show has shaped up over the years.  The Pay Per View as expected turned out to be a splendid one with a few of the most intriguing matches.  To know how the show turned out to be, Read on for the complete WWE Night of Champions 15/09/2013 Results along with the performance review of matches and analysis of the show.

The show officially kicked off with Triple H confirming that there will be no interference during the WWE championship match later on.

Paul Heyman and Curtis Axel came out and interrupted Triple H.  Heyman claimed that he was trying to talk to Triple H since last week and questioned HHH's decision to put him in a match against CM Punk.  He then begged "The Game" to change his mind about the match.  HHH then asked Heyman if he truly believed in the ability of Curtis Axel.  Axel claimed that he had already proved a point by beating HHH.  Triple H didn't like that and told Axel that he would defend his intercontinental championship to the first person he came across backstage who turned out to be Kofi Kingston.

*The first match of the night between Curtis Axel and Kofi Kingston went in favor of Axel after he hit a Neckbreaker finisher to win.

Backstage, RVD was with Ricardo who asked him some catchphrase in Spanish for him.

AJ Lee was also present backstage as she spoke to the other divas who aren't on Total Divas and who decided that they will no longer work as AJ's army.

*The Divas Championship match between AJ Lee, Brie Bella, Natalya and Naomi saw AJ lee win once again and she locked in a black widow on Natalya for victory.

*The results of the World Heavyweight Championship match between Alberto Del Rio and Rob Van Dam at Night of Champions 15/09/2013 saw RVD win the match after Del Rio intentionally got himself disqualified.

Post match, Del Rio attacked RVD and tried to get his hands on a chair.  RVD was able to counter the attack into a DDT.  RVD then hit a Van Terminator on Del Rio.

*The match between The Miz and Fandango saw The Miz win the match comfortably after he locked in a figure four for victory.

 *The No Disqualification Handicap Elimination match between CM Punk and Curtis Axel-Paul Heyman saw Punk able to eliminate Axel via Anaconda Vice.  This now left Heyman all at mercy of Punk.  Heyman tried to beg for mercy but Punk didn't listen.  Just as Punk was working on Heyman with Kendo Sticks, out came Ryback who speared CM Punk through the table that Axel Setup.  Ryback then helped Heyman score a pin over Punk.

 *The results of theUnited States Championship match between Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler at went in favor of Dean Ambrose who retained his championship after planting Ziggler with a headlock driver for the Win.

*The results of the Tag team championship match between The Shield and Prime Time Players at saw The Shield  retaining their championship after Young interfered which allowed Reigns to hit Titus O' Neil with a spear.

*The results of the WWE Championship match between Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton on 15/09/2013 saw Bryan winning the championship after he revered the RKO into a Knee strike.  The referee made a fast count to help Bryan win.  The show went off air with Bryan going onto the stage and doing his famous yes! chant.

The main event of the evening  between Bryan and Orton saw both the wrestlers go hard against each other.  After weeks of taking a dig at each other both the wrestlers performed exceeding well and the Fans will be happy to know that they finally have a champion whom they have longed been waiting for.
